—  Year-End Giving 2026  —

Somewhere in New Orleans tonight, someone is wondering

if faith can still change anything.

We believe it can. And every year, people like you help us prove it. Your gift before December 31 writes the next chapter.

Chapter IThe Bet

2019

7100 St. Charles Avenue · New Orleans

When the Center opened its doors, we made a bet.

Pews were emptying out. Headlines said faith was retreating from public life. We looked around New Orleans and saw something different. We bet:

  • That people still hunger for a faith that does something.
  • That curiosity about spirituality and justice hasn’t gone anywhere.
  • That people of every faith, and people still figuring it out, could sit at the same table and leave changed.

Seven years later, you keep proving that bet right.

Chapter IIThe Year

2026 was a year of full rooms.

Lunch-hour conversations. A chapel packed with neighbors. Faith leaders back in the classroom. Here’s a look at what you made possible.

Chapter IIIThe Honest Part

Your gifts aren’t extra. They’re the foundation.

The Center runs lean, and we keep our programs free or low-cost on purpose. We never want price to be the reason someone stays home. That means every door we open, someone like you holds open.

Who your gift reaches

The pastor

who sits with grief every week and has never been trained for it.

Your gift helps fund CEU scholarships, so the leaders who carry their communities can grow, whatever their budget.

Scholarships & continuing education

The seeker

who wants to understand a neighbor’s faith but doesn’t know where to start.

Your gift keeps Learning Over Lunch and The Unlearning Curve free for anyone with a question and an open mind.

Free conversations & podcast

The neighbor

who walks into the chapel unsure and leaves with a plan.

Your gift brings visiting voices and public gatherings home to New Orleans, across faiths and across divides.

Public gatherings & speakers

Faith is the reading.
Action is the homework.

Chapter IVThe Next Chapter

Help us write 2027.

What you give before the year ends decides which courses we offer, how many scholarships we fund, and which voices we bring home. Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, your gift becomes part of someone’s story of hope.

Now it’s your turn to tell one.

Where have you seen faith turn into action in New Orleans this year?

A neighbor who showed up. A congregation that opened its doors. A moment that made you believe this city can do better.

Share your story and you’ll be entered for a chance to receive a Center swag mailer. It only takes a minute.

Good Questions

Before you give

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. The St. Charles Center for Faith + Action is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and gifts made by December 31 count toward your 2026 taxes. You’ll receive a receipt by email for your records.

Is giving online secure?

Yes. All gifts are processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Should I give once or monthly?

Both matter. A one-time gift makes an immediate difference at year end. A monthly gift gives the Center steady support we can plan around all year, and it comes with a welcome package of Center swag.

Can I change or cancel my monthly gift?

Of course. Email center@stcharlesave.center and we’ll take care of it.

Can I give another way, like by check?

Yes. Make checks out to The St. Charles Center for Faith + Action and mail them to 7100 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118. For other options, email center@stcharlesave.center.

The End of This Chapter

The story isn’t finished.
Neither are we.

Thank you for being part of it this year. Let’s write the next one together.
