Love Your Immigrant Neighbor Campaign
in partnership with Louisiana Interchurch Conference

A statewide, interfaith prayer and public witness project, coordinated by Louisiana Interchurch Conference.

At a time when immigration enforcement is separating families and creating fear in our communities, people of faith are called to respond, not with silence, but with prayerful, visible love.

Across traditions, we gather to affirm a simple truth: our immigrant neighbors are our neighbors.

What We Are Doing

Congregations across Louisiana are hosting prayer services, vigils, and liturgies that:

  • center compassion and human dignity

  • create space for testimony and listening

  • invite public participation and media presence

  • connect prayer with meaningful action

Our goal is to establish a steady rhythm of shared prayer across the state, with at least two gatherings each month.
