Give Before Dec 31A gathering place for faith in action.
All faiths and philosophies share a calling to seek justice and compassion. At the Center, we're here to help that calling take shape, in conversation, in community, and in the streets of New Orleans.

In partnership with Solitary Gardens
Freedom to grow.
Solitary Gardens transforms solitary confinement cells into living garden beds. Each bed is designed and remotely gardened by incarcerated collaborators, the Solitary Gardeners, and tended by community members on the outside.
Both directly and metaphorically, it asks us to imagine a landscape without prisons.

Grounded in justice.
Rooted in this land.
The Center embraces movements for justice and liberation, partnering with leaders from BIPOC communities.
We acknowledge that we are on Bulbancha, now called New Orleans. Bulbancha, which means place of many tongues, is the unceded land of the Chitimacha, the Houma, the Chahta Yakni (Choctaw), the Atakapa Ishak Chawasha, and all Indigenous peoples of this region.
Faith is the reading.
Action is the homework.
Your gift keeps our conversations free, opens CEU seats for faith leaders, and brings voices home to New Orleans. Help build a community with more learning, empathy, healing, and justice.
The St. Charles Center for Faith + Action is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. EIN 84-2949542.
